Eren Alptekin is a Newport Beach, CA based award-winning artist creating contemporary abstract paintings. Over the years, Eren has developed a unique visual language that manifests itself throughout her textured large-format paintings on canvas reflecting her personal outlook of emphasizing the bright view of life. Highlighting spatial movement of light and shape in space, juxtaposed with layers of luminous colors and textural applications, Eren creates light filled harmonious compositions that evoke the grandeur and natural beauty of coastal and architectural environments as well as abstract figurative work. Her original style and technique is driven by her imagination, experience, memory, and a curiosity to explore. Through her work, Eren strives to resonate with viewers, spark their imagination, and generate a joyful visual journey.

An internationally collected and published artist, Eren has exhibited her work in numerous galleries and juried art shows for more than thirty years in California.
Her paintings have earned numerous awards and have been displayed in private and public collections throughout the U.S. and abroad.

Eren earned her MS degree in Architecture from Columbia University in New York City and holds BFA and MFA degrees majoring in Architecture with emphasis on art history and preservation from Istanbul Technical University. Similar to her architectural design work, Eren\u2019s art has evolved over the years with her background always shining through.

Eren has been an exhibitor at Laguna Art-A-Fair since 2015 and is a member of Los Angeles Art Association. Currently, she is represented by several galleries in Los Angeles and her work can additionally be viewed at her studios in Newport Beach and Santa Ana, California.<\/p>
